Nice hotel in downtown area next to McDo's and Jollibee. Walking distance to ferries and the bus terminal. Very good prices and clean accommodations. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but appearances can be deceiving.

Fish, meat, livestock, etc. Most of it ferried in from other areas in the province. The smell can be horrendous in the heat of summer, but some good deals can be found early in the morning after first catch.

Wow, this place is crowded with customers day and night. Unbelievably busy, good luck finding an open table. I do love Jollibee fried chicken though, so the crowds don't keep me away. Chickenlicious.

This location is packed full of customers day and night. It's not as clean as other locations in Phils, but when you're craving that Big Mac it definitely does the job.

Try the Chop Suey in the restaurant downstairs, it's awesome. This hotel is not so bad, I stayed in the Junior Executive Suite a few times for varying lengths, the view was nice as I could scan the four corners of downtown area. Close to McDo's and Jollibee, short walk to Hugo's and Giuseppe's. The port area is just next to McDo's if you plan to take ferry. Jeepney available downstairs for the bus terminal.

It's a small airport but more than efficient. In and out, no covered ramps, walk to and from the aircraft on marked tarmac. Baggage area can be a little hectic, let one of the baggage helpers find your things it's plenty cheap enough. There's usually lots of taxi's and jeepney's waiting for passengers upon flight arrival. Don't let yourself get ripped off - it's only a short drive to downtown Tacloban and any major hotel. 200-300 pesos for a private ride will suffice.
